You can choose to do the sadhana for a period of 42, 21, 14 or 7 days.

You can choose to do the sadhana for a period of 42, 21, 14 or 7 days.
Shiva Namaskar, (a practice taught during the initiation) should be done with devotion a minimum of 12/21 times a day, either before sunrise or after sunset, on an empty stomach.
During the sadhana period, you are recommended to address others as “Shiva.”
Dress Code: White or light-colored clothing with a saffron-colour (kaavi) Shawl is highly recommended, but not mandatory.
Ask for Bhiksha or alms from a minimum of 21 people and offer it to Dhyanalinga at the time of culmination. This is applicable only for in-person culmination.
Instead of asking for Bhiksha (alms) as part of the sadhana, you can skip a meal and contribute to Annadanam - a sacred offering of food, to someone.
Participants who are culminating online, can offer money or food to 3 people in need or can donate the same amount for Annadanam.
Vibhuti should be applied between the eyebrows, at the pit of the throat, behind the ears, on the solar plexus and just below the navel.
Please Note:
People with hernia are advised to do the variations of Shiva Namaskar by using a cushion or a chair.
Shivanga Sadhakas can culminate in person at the Dhyanalinga in Coimbatore.
Culmination is followed by pilgrimage to the Velliangiri Mountains. If you are unable to do this, you can do Adiyogi Pradakshina (Circumambulation) instead.

It is optional for Shivangas to come to the Dhyanalinga in Coimbatore.
